Q: Can I drop in and take a salsa class anytime? Top
A: Sorry, all classes are registered 4 week sessions. Drop in salsa classes are not available at this time.
However, I hold one-day workshops for subscribers to my Free Newsletter that you can participate in. Just reserve your spot before the class starts. Learn about any upcoming workshops by subscribing to my Free Newsletter on the left.
Q: What happens if I'm absent? Top
A: Please understand that your fee is for the entire session of eight weeks. It is only a fair request that you plan your schedule so you won't miss any classes.
If you must skip a class due to illness or other personal matters, you are always welcome to make up a class on another date.
Q: Can I switch levels if my class is too easy/hard? Top
A: Of course! If you find a class too basic/challenging, you can switch to another class time or date. Just sign up for a session. After you've had two or three classes and want to switch, we'll discuss it after class.
Salsa Class Tip: Choose a level that will allow you to feel comfortable and have a good time. Naturally, everyone's ability is different -
START EASY FIRST, you can always switch levels later.
If you haven't danced in many years, DO NOT jump into an advanced level class right away. You want to leave feeling good about yourself, not discouraged or intimidated.
Q: What do I wear to class? Top
A: Well, preferably what you would wear when you are out with your family and friends. You don't need to come looking like Dancing With The Stars... although that would be pretty hot. Wear what you want, as long as you can dance comfortably in it.
Salsa Class Tip: It is important that you wear shoes with smooth soles than rubber soles. Salsa dancing boosts a series of turns, and shoes with smooth soles helps protect your ankles.
Ladies, very simple, make sure you wear shoes that are flexible and provide good ankle support... flip-flops are difficult to dance in.
Q: Do you offer private salsa dance lessons? Top
A: Yes, I do! And you can share a private lesson with a friend or loved one. Simply use the Contact Us form below to set up a time and date that is most convenient for you.
Private lesson is $65/hour with a minimum of two hours.
