Q: If I don't have a credit card or can't pay online,                  Top
can I register another way?

A: If a credit card isn't an option, your ONLY other option is to mail payment IN ADVANCE via Money Order or Certified Check payable to ALAN ALMIROL.
Please mail payment to:

Include a note with your FULL NAME, PHONE, EMAIL, and EXACTLY what class you're registering for - time and date. You'll need to e-mail Alan to make sure there's still space in your desired class BEFORE you send payment by mail, because class fill up very quickly.

Q: Do I need a partner?                                                             Top

A: No, you do not need a partner. We rotate partners so that everyone gets a chance to dance. In a social environment, we encourage this practice... this allows you to become a better leader, follower, and dancer overall.

Q: Can I drop in and take a salsa class anytime?                           Top

A: Sorry, all classes are registered 4 week sessions. Drop in salsa classes are not available at this time.

However, if you must skip a class due to illness or have prior engagement, you are always welcome to make up a class on another date.

Q: Can I switch levels if my class is too easy/hard?                  Top

A: Of course! If you find a class too basic/challenging, you can switch to another class time or date. Just sign up for a 4-Week Session. After you've had two or three classes and want to switch, we'll discuss it after class.

Salsa Class Tip: Choose a level that will allow you to feel comfortable and have a good time. Naturally, everyone's ability is different -
START EASY FIRST, you can always switch levels later.

If you haven't danced in many years, DO NOT jump into an advanced level class right away. You want to leave feeling good about yourself, not discouraged or intimidated.

Q: What do I wear to class?                                                       Top

A: Well, preferably what you would wear when you are out with your family and friends. You don't need to come looking like Dancing With The Stars... although that would be pretty hot. Wear what you want, as long as you can dance comfortably in it.

Salsa Class Tip: It is important that you wear shoes with smooth soles than rubber soles. Salsa dancing boosts a series of turns, and shoes with smooth soles helps protect your ankles.

Ladies, very simple, make sure you wear shoes that are flexible and provide good ankle support... flip-flops are difficult to dance in.
